Upload File User Input Settings

Configure these settings for the Upload File User Input.

  1. Select the Upload File option from the Type drop-down menu.

  2. Enter in the Variable setting a unique Variable name for this User Input different from others in this AI.

  3. Enter in the Label Text setting this User Input’s label that displays to the app user. This is the primary question or statement of the User Input that instructs the user what to do.

  4. Optionally, from the Featured Image setting select an image for this User Input:

    • Select the Upload button to upload an image.

    • Enter into the Paste image URL setting the URL for your AI to reference the image.

  5. From the File Type drop-down menu, select which file type(s) the Upload File User Input accepts:

    • Allow All

    • Allow All Extractable (default setting)

    • Excel Spreadsheet (.xlsx)

    • CSV File (.csv)

    • Word Document (.docx)

    • Text File (.txt)

    • PDF File (.pdf)

    • HTML Document (.html)

  6. From the Processing drop-down menu, select how to process the uploaded file:

    • No Processing

    • Extract Text (default setting)

  7. Optionally, from the Logging drop-down menu, select the Enable option. See Enable Input Logging for more information.

User Input settings save immediately. A preview of the User Input displays in the right-side panel.
